Established in 1994, Akustika Praha is active in room and building acoustics, noise control, and sound insulation. We offer our clients a vast range of services from preliminary measurements to studies and projects, including realization of acoustic and noise reduction solutions for sound studios, concert halls, conference rooms, theatres, cinemas, stadiums, industrial areas, etc. The founders of the company were the members of the acoustical department of the former research institute VÚZORT Praha. Their longstanding experience and theoretical background in the areas mentioned above ensure the high reputation of the company, in recent years the partner of renowned Czech architects, cultural institutions, construction companies and contractors and a valuable contributor in the successful completion of various studies, projects nad buildings. In co-operation with contractors and suppliers, Akustika Praha has executed a number of its own projects. Another indispensable partr of the founders´activities consists in the creation of Czech technical standards in acoustics and the introduction of ISO and EN standards into ČSN (the Czech Technical Standards). The company seeks to deliver comprehensive services in all areas referred to above while maintaining the highest possible quality, and is fully independent from any single supplier of acoustic material and products. Akustika Praha professionals have written a number of scientific publications and are renowned in professional circles both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Ing. Josef Novák
A specialist in protection against internal and external noise and in the area of room and construction acoustics (television studios PRIMA, Czech Television, and Concervatory Hall in the town of Teplice, reconstruction of the Prague airport), he has been certified for official measurements of noise and soundproof capacity of building, as well as for measurements of sound reverberation. He is chairman of the technical standard setting committee No. 8 of the Czech Standard Institute, and chairman of the Czech Acoustic Society.
Ing. Tomáš Rozsíval
He is a certified engineer for enviromental studies, specialising in technical equipment (ČKAIT - 0001283). He is author of acoustic studies (for example AB Barrandov, FEBIO Prague, Dalibor Lipský Dubbing Studio) as well as acoustic solutions for theatres (Theater Komedie in Prague, Jiří Myron Theater in the town of Ostrava) and similar rooms (rehearsal room of the Prague Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, etc.). He has proposed measures designed to reduce sound levels (for example in the swimming pool in the town of České Budějovice, the meeting room of the company Doly Bílina a. s. and many other facilities).
